E. Gordon West is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, the Texas Watercolor Society, the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, and the Watercolor USA Honor Society. He has received over 60 awards in national exhibitions and has works in the permanent collections of the the McNay Art Museum, San Antonio, TX, the University of Louisville, and the Texas A&M University.
He has work and articles has been published in many national magazines including "Artist's Magazine" and "American Artist Magazine" (including the May issue of 2010) and has been featured in the American Watercolor Society's Newsletter.
A long member of the "Watercolor Gang", he and his wife Joan, live in San Antonio, Texas
